Hi there, netbook owners and sub notebook users.
How you doing? This one's for you,
because you may have recently purchased one of these,
maybe really expensive sub notebooks or one of these really inexpensive netbooks.
And you love the fact that they're so small.
And that they're so portable. But, you may have realized that there's one little problem,
and you don't have an optical drive. You can't watch your DVDs on it.
You can't burn any DVDs or CDs on it. In fact, you may even have trouble
installing software off of a DVD or CD because
you just don't have a DVD burner or a DVD reader in your computer.
Well, take a look at this.
The folks at Lite-On have put together a heck of a little DVD burner.
Look at this. Look how tiny that thing is.
It's extraordinary small. Small enough to be able to just toss in your bag
along with your computer and you probably won't ever know that this thing is there.
And, it also happens to be really, really inexpensive.
So this is a perfect edition to your netbook or your sub notebook.
It's also really great, you know, even if you have a desktop computer.
You know, maybe your DVD drive isn't in a convenient location,
you can throw this on your desk, and you can easily get to it.
And, one of the great features about this is that
it does have the LightScribe technology built into it.
So, when you do burn a DVD or CD onto a LightScribe capable disk,
you can flip that thing over and actually burn your labels right onto the disk.
So, it looks really professional.
I've seen the disks that these LightScribe drives create
and they look really, really cool and way better than Sharpie
or those ridiculous Inkjet labels that you can put on these things.
So, this is a perfect choice for you if you're one of these people.
It does do 8X right speeds for DVD burning,
4X right speeds for CD burning,
and it also, it will write to any kind of DVD media,
no matter, you know, if you buy it in the store.
Whether it's DD-R, +R, -RW, whatever.
All types of DVD media will be able to be recorded in this Lite-On DVD writer.
So, if you're in the market, and you're not really satisfied
with these big giant ones out there.
'Cuz you've probably noticed that a lot of these,
a lot of these external DVD burners are extremely sort of large.
You know, they can sometimes be like, you know, this big.
This is easily one of the smallest ones out there that you're going to find.
Also, very inexpensive, looks cool, burns relatively fast.
I mean, 8X is not exactly scorching fast but it's definitely fast enough.
Especially when you have a drive this small.
So, go ahead and have a look at this if you're a netbook owner,
or a notebook owner that is in need of a DVD drive,
because this is literally a perfect companion for that thing.
And it's going to allow you to enjoy your DVDs on the road,
install your software, and back everything up,
without having to worry about it.
