Guide Lines are now displayed also in 3D, not only in 2D.
These are real 3D Guide Lines which can connect any two points in space.
There is a brand new way of creating Guide Lines; it is simpler, with greater user control.
In previous versions, if we moved our cursor over an edge, possible Guide Lines appeared.
Now Guide Lines are created only when we want them.
If we move out cursor over any edge, to the left of the cursor a so-called Guide Line handle appears.
As we move our cursor over the handle, its color darkens to give feedback about that.
Now we can click the handle and the Guide Line is created.
So Guide Lines are created only when we click their Handles.
So it is now very easy to create any Guide Line or Guide Circle and we have a greater degree of control.
With this simplified method, the Work Environment Dialog’s Guide Lines page has also become much simpler.
There are only a few settings we need to use compared to the almost two dozen in previous versions.
