In veg news, an acclaimed British poet reflects on his plant-based lifestyle. Celebrated poet
and writer Dr. Benjamin Zephaniah was interviewed in The Observer, a well-respected Sunday newspaper
in the United Kingdom. Dr. Zephaniah related that as a child, animals had become his friends;
therefore, by the age of 16, he had adopted a plant-based diet. Dr. Zephaniah, who has
also penned popular children’s books, eats a wide variety of delectable cruelty-free
fare. He said, “There really is a vegan version of everything.” He further stated
that at his present age of 52, he can keep pace with 20 year olds in sports such as running,
football, and kung fu. Bravo, Dr. Benjamin Zephaniah, on your wonderful artistic expression
and compassionate lifestyle. Our thankfulness, also, The Observer, for presenting this valuable
article. May all people realize everything is to be gained by making the transition to
the Earth-saving animal-free diet
