One of the great advantages of Avoka Transact
is that you can take the same transactions that you design for online web site access,
and publish them to the Avoka Transact Field Worker App.
The Field Worker App runs on Apple, Android and Windows devices,
as well as Windows and Macintosh desktops.
Here we see the Windows desktop version, but the other versions look identical.
You will notice that even though I'm currently disconnected from the internet,
I can still login to the application locally.
I can access all the forms that have been assigned to me.
These were synchronized down to the device when I was last online,
and will be automatically refreshed and updated
any time I get back online.
When I open a form, it will be automatically pre-populated with my profile data,
to help me complete it easily.
I can access local device capabilites such as GPS coordinates,
camera,
and sign-on-glass capabilities.
I can leave the form at any time,
and come back to it later,
and I can work on any number of forms at the same time.
When I submit the form, if I am online, it will be submitted directly as usual.
However, if I'm offline, the submission will be held in a secure and encrypted store,
and be submitted when I am next online.
I also have a task list, which includes both incomplete forms,
as well as transactions that may have been allocated to me
by a supervisor or a task allocation system.
You have just seen a high level overview of the Field Worker app,
just one of many of the features of Avoka Transact.
