Hi, I'm Angela Martindale and today we're talking about a twelve week program to get
you out of obesity. This is a pre workout stretch program. You will do this three times
a week before every cardio session that you do. So the first exercise is stretching out
those hamstrings, your glutes, your lower back. Pulling in your core, re identifying
with your core, and opening up your chest and your back. It's really a great stretch
to do at your office. It's really a great stretch to do if you are on the computer a
lot. If you stand a lot at work. These are really great exercises to take pressure off
your knees and your chest muscles and your lower back. So let's begin just by inhaling
up and you just do a forward fold, you want to dive forward, bending those knees, nice
and slow, squeeze your glutes, squeeze your abs in. Dropping down very slow, movement
does not have to be quick. You are allowing your body just to relax and deepen and into
the stretch. You're going to hold it here, you want to pull that neck up nice and tall,
you want to press through your heels. Lifting your toes in your shoes or if you are wearing
bare feet, if you have bare feet. And allowing the body just to drop and holding it another
three breaths. Inhaling, exhaling through the nose and slowly drop the fingertips and
slowly head is the last thing to come up. Rolling the shoulder blades back, inhaling,
exhaling through the nose and breath.
