Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Right
now, I just have a basic word processing document open. If I come up to file and select new,
I'm going to come down here under page layout and select blank. That's going to open me
up a blank page layout. Page layouts differ a little bit from the word processing in that
you can create text boxes and put text in there. I'm just going to type in random stuff.
With the text box what you can do is you can click and drag it around so that you can easily
lay out your pages. You can also resize it by clicking on one of the little squares on
the edges. I'm going to make that a little bit bigger. I'm going to delete the text in
there now. I'm going to go over here to my word processing. If I select some text from
there, I can just click and drag it over into my text box. This makes it a lot easier to
create things such as brochures, pamphlets, books, newsletters, or whatever you want.
You can just click and drag your text around. You can also add media such as pictures and
movies, which we'll get into in just a little while.
