We are here. Stop spitting! I can't believe it! Don't, don't, don't. Why are you talking like this? I give you a whirret. So...
So we are here in the beautiful sunlight, here is a Mini Riga motorbike, whereabout you have to know that it's almost... that
it sucks, okay, but it's not that you have to know now, but that it has a speedometer, 922 km and it's quasi brand new.
I show you the rear anti-splash guard for example, it's not frayed, really nice, the polishing is original, the tailpipe is like it was
never used. So the whole machine is like... go away, cause you overshadows me. Don't... The whole machine is like it was quasi new.
You can see that for example here is everything clear, the hub and... So it wasn't used much, in the last 25 years probably rested in one
place. But we search for the russian data plate and see, from which year the machine is. I try to look at the plate,
the lighting is not too good. It says that it's from 1989. Well, that is... When were you born, Lacus? In '94. Háháháá. Well then
this is a much older than you, although the motorbike has thyristor ignition, otherwise we was surprised by it, cause it's a really bad
construction. It has so much blemish that the pluggings let themselves go after 25 or 20 years waiting or standing and the
petroltank of the carburetor is dripping a little, we put in it now a rubber seal, but didn't really get results. I think this is the
only known failure of the motor, oh and that it has a lot of construction failures. Go away, cause you overshadows me!
The clutch is like this too, what wouldn't be matter, if it'd be a russian minicar with flywheels for kids, but on a motorbike
they could've done better and what I don't understand that why they couldn't steal the czech, polish or any other motorbike's
completely perfect clutch system. In it is a catastrophic clutch. The change gear itself is roughly okay. and I think the ignition is
so-so too. And what I like very much that is the Bud Spencer-ish frontlamp. here you can see it, nice wide and to these chubby
wheels almost like Bud Spencer would sit on it, but now only Lacus will. And now we're not gonna kick it in, cause as I said, the clutch
isn't completely perfect. I mean it's perfect cause we made it, it just has a bronze brushing and it's frayed, that's why the clutch
moves on the arbour a little bit, so we don't kick it in, we just roll in the motorbike. And the carburetor isn't set perfectly,
so maybe its start-up will be a little bit hard. But Lacus is so enthusiastic. Well, Lacus, now! Now get up and start it!
I think you should begin with the opening of the fuel *** and then... Now if we have a little bit of luck then it will start up.
Well, it starts already. So, so. It goes! Well, this is the Riga.
So this is a Riga with 922 km, what means that it was barely used during its life.
It has two gears otherwise and Lacus can try to put it in the second gear, but it will work only in the first.
Stop it! He doesn't do it. Jah.
Oh and an other curiosity... - ...
You don't have to stop it, it stops itself. Yep. And an other curiosity that it has factory brake lamp switch, I show it here.
There is my finger and there is the brake lamp switch. That isn't factory, Lacus says. But why isn't it? Why?
- Cause it isn't factory, that's why. - But how do you know it? There is the russian sign totally.
But it's factory. It's a factory brake lamp switch. Look at it! - But it's not factory just because it was made there.
But it's factory, look at it, there is the little hole in the brake lever and it's totally factory and the red thing there on the frame
on that it's put on, that is totally original too. - Not at all. - But this is factory.
Turn off the fuel ***, cause our expensive petrol flows away. Well, do you go for an other ride with it? Maybe it will start up.
We should have done the carburetor, cause now it's a totally awkward video cause of it, but whatever. Well, go!
- Start upwards, till I roll it in and then I'll go. - Well I record how you go downwards first.
Oh, it starts up immediately.
Its voice is like a worse type mower from Tesco.
Oh, it goes.
It goes, it goes. Simply beautiful. This is the voice of a Mini Riga from '89, the glorious socialism
that took 922 km and is In practically factory condition here on the pot house path.
