Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, this is Muhammad Al-Jawhary, and today I am gonna unbox a RAM kit from the folks over at ADATA.
This kit belongs to the XPG (Xtreme Performance Gear) family, it consists of two modules, 4GB each, with 2133 MHz frequency
The packing is very simple, a transparent enclosure holding both modules and giving you an opportunity to examine them before buying
The modules are low profile as you can see, this shall help a lot overcoming any conflict that may happen after installing an aftermarket cooler.
The package holds the ADATA famous multi-color bird, down here is a lifetime warranty label.
If we flip the package over, we see a lot of information that we are not really very interested in!
Before unboxing the package, the package cannot be sealed after opening, this guarantee that you will be the first to unbox, and the last!
Now I will start, at the top rear side there is a weak spot that you can start tearing the package of.
Do it gently, no violence or force needed.
The first thing that welcome us is a nice colored label which has nice pieces of information regarding RAM installation procedures,
written in both English and another Asian language that I am not aware of.
It is time to examin the XPG Xtreme modules, these are Low Profile modules, 4GB each.
No compatibility issue will take place with your huge after market cooler due to its low profile nature.
The color is silver with some stars painted in both sides
ADATA name is embossed, this is a very good metal carved label
The green PCB will not attract neither overclockers nor enthusiasts attention. Those adore black PCBs only.
Here is another colse look at this Low profile silver green PCB module.
This is an information label where you find frequency, timing, and voltage values.
It acts as a warranty sticker as well. Do not remove that!
