original template from JKFC doesn't include top & back of the helmet. i modified & included into my template, se description
to me, this was the hardest part, i use a lil' glue just to temporary put them together, because i want a removable faceplate, which i fail to do so with foam helmet
use minimum amount of glue here
this part may vary, so trim it if you need to
"plastic surgery"
PVA glue or any paper glue
the face is too flat, need to add some "curve"
mix water + paper clay + PVA, "plastic surgery", you can't do this with foam build. clay won't stick to foam, this is also why i prefer cardboard over foam
of course you can use plaster, wall filler, car bondo... but i think sanding paper clay is less harmful to my lungs
next day...
some light sanding, it should be ok
alright, that ends part 1, next it will be more paper clay, detailing, prepping, painting... i might also do hinges for the faceplate, who knows, wish me luck...
