They attacked them, and then beat them; and in any civilized country people have right to protest; and anyone has the right to express their opinion freely.
To disperse the sit-in, I am for it. But to disperse the sit-in in this way? I am against it.
We had to disperse the sit-in; the situation of the country was stalled. Anyone could see that the situation in the country was stalled.
But don't disperse the sit-in the way they did it, so these huge numbers of people don't die.
My opinion is that this sit-in needed to be dispersed much earlier; it was late in being dispersed, because if it were dispersed earlier the losses would have been less.
And it had to be emptied, because here in Egypt the real number of people that don't want the Muslim Brotherhood, is much more than they are.
In the name of God the most merciful and gracious, our comments on what happened in Raba'a and Nahda are that this was a slaughter, by anyone's standards.
The stance of America now is that America is out for their interests only. What are their interests and what direction are they taking, and what is the feedback they will receive about what is happening?
If something won't benefit them, then they are against it, if something will benefit them, then they are for it. But America is neither for, nor against.
The Pentagon says something, other people say something else, Obama says a third thing...so listen, who is America with? No one knows.
Baradei resigned in the moment that the country needed him. You are the Vice President...
In reality, Baradei is a character...since the beginning he has been a person that cannot hold power in a country. He was living outside Egypt for the majority of his life.
We say, Baradei may God curse him. We have known that he is unjust for a long time.
And we said, those people burning churches has been done before; and we know this, like the game of the ex-Minister of Interior, Habib al-Adly, when he wanted to confirm any sectarianism, he would just go burn a church or do something else.
But we protect the churches when we see something like this. And we say, God only is my mighty guide and may God save us from the darkness.
What discrimination? The people are in prison, the president is in prison, discrimination to whom? And the people are being arrested, those that are Muslim Brotherhood and those that are not.
They said to the people, "Anyone that is pro President Morsi is Muslim Brotherhood." I am not Muslim Brotherhood! All these people are not Muslim Brotherhood.
What is the percentage of Muslim Brotherhood in the country? Okay? Anyone that is pro President Morsi, pro-democracy, pro-legitimacy, those are the people being called Muslim Brotherhood.
And now being Muslim Brotherhood means you are a terrorist.
If, the people try to sit with the Muslim Brotherhood and try to talk to them, then yes, we will become a democratic country.
If we do not sit with them, then we will turn them into terrorists, just like Nasser turned them into terrorists, and Sadat turned them into terrorists.
The government that is in power is the one turning them into terrorists; they don't have to turn into terrorists.
When I find oppression, oppression, oppression, I have to defend myself, even if with a feather, I have to defend myself.
It is known that the Muslim Brotherhood are trying to destroy everything in Egypt..
and the last thing they did was to instigate sectarianism, but thank God, the Egyptian people are aware, aware, aware...
we are never going to become Lebanon, we are never going to become Syria, nor are we going to become any fallen country, because we are very awake!
