dj bbq iin the house in my house and ive got something a bit more comfortable today because i
kind of a cross between a
buddhist monk and david bowe we are going to do the best
side you will ever feast upon Woodstock dans green beans
and to accompany
this recipe weve got

oh yeah alright
i got a bit of olive oil
but you know we also want the flavour of the butter but we dont want to the butter to burn
thats why we mix up the olive oil and the butter onion
were going to shop this bad boy up
now woodstock dan he worked in a restaurant
back in the
late eighties early nineties and he is probably one of my favorite chefs i have ever worked with
and he had this big batch of green beans and he used to eat them up all the time man and
i was like why are these so good dan he said nutmeg nutmeg and cracked pepper
its the key man
so theres our onions nicely finely chopped get these things kind of softened
up
little sea salt in there
so they gotta cook
four about
five minutes
is the heat going to get you its going to get ya gong to get ya
waaaa
i should have put my goggles on where are my goggles dude there we go now i can do it i can talk to pan cam
they're saultating good
now you need
freshly cracked pepper they are going everywhere
its armageddon here
perfecto its time
for the side ive taken a good portion of green beans probably about
thirty of those bad boys because im going to serve about
three to four people i boiled them
for 4 minutes not to long because i want to keep the crunch
okay secret ingredient
nutmeg you have got to be careful with nutmeg because the outer kind of webby stuff
is mace its kind of poisonous
there has been two reported deaths from overdoing nutmeg so yeah remember that
get rid of the textured layer and
pick the fruit
give it a couple of good thrashings
and you can of course use ground nutmeg that you can buy at the store but
i tend to do it with this bad boy it tastes better and you get more flavour so now i'm going to add more pepper
the the concoction
and then a pinch more salt
we are going to let them mosh into pit throw in some elbows there is a guy in there
with two double mohicans so the green bean throws an onion at
him and he goes away crying its going to be cool they are going to be friends some day it will be awesome here we
go
i know what you guys are thinking where can i get an outfit like this
well you can't because i had it custom made she is done man she is good
i gave her about 6 - 7 minutes of
getting to know the
herbs
the onions the butter the olive oil
the salt and pepper nutmeg
and there you have it woodstock dans green beans
