is a great organization and they do really good work.
>> Mark Jose: First of all it's a great cause, any opportunity to put pain
on my colleagues is always welcome.
>> Nicki May: It changed my life 'cause it made me realize
little things make a big difference in terms of getting me active.
>> Person 1 [shouting]: That's it, that's it,
punch punch, that's it!
>> Nicki May: Our whole floor has rallied together
and we've got teams competing and it's been really fun.
>> Mark Jose: We had a bit of a challenge between the boys versus girls
and I think sadly the girls won.
>> Nicki May: It's been really easy to enter my steps,
it's been fantastically organized so I can enter them on the go via my mobile.
>> Mark Jose: It was so much fun being involved with this initiative
and to know it was for a good cause like cerebral palsy,
it made it all the more worthwhile.
>> Team: We did it!
>> Oliver Rathje: We have several people at our school who actually has cerebral palsy
so me and some of my friends thought it was would be a great thing
to do something about it, we can actually help people
and raise awareness.
>> Maggie Farahbakht: I really like getting involved
in fun things as well as, at the end you know that you helped others.
>> Oliver Rathje: The CP challenge was a great idea
so we just entered it and we just started walking.
>> Maggie Farahbakht: I try to go home and go for walks every afternoon.
You can also play sport at lunchtime and stuff so it's pretty easy.
To begin with I didn't know that it took 18 months
on a waiting list for a wheelchair.
And now that I know I know that it's going to make a difference
in someone else's life.
>> Oliver Rathje: It feels really good, it's good to actually do something
for other people.
>> Person 2: Congratulations to the 900 participating teams
who took a staggering 1.5 billion steps raising over $450,000 dollars.
These vital funds will be used for equipment,
essential therapy and research
to find a cure for cerebral palsy.
