Quick Start Example - Part 2
Input Data
Click the pipe.
Click Pipe Type.
Select pipe data.
The data is applied to the pipe.
Roughness data is included.
Add data for the other pipes.
There is an elbow in this pipe.
Minor loss values may be added.
Click the pipe and click Fittings.
Enter a quantity.
The minor loss for all fittings is summed in Total K.
Add the elbow to this pipe also.
'2' is the symbol for an elbow.
To see the minor loss value, click this icon
Enter data for the nodes.
Click on the node.
Enter Elevation and Grade.
Enter data for the other nodes.
Elevation data for intermediate node is optional.
Check the data with map labels.
Turn on Elevation label for nodes.
Turn on Pipe Type label for pipes.
You may change the appearance of the map labels.
Check that the data is correct.
Save the model!
