Who said that in order to have a satisfying experience when playing a video game you have to spend a fortune in a graphics card?
Thankfully, there are a number of graphics cards that refute that like the NVIDIA Geforce 750Ti.
I'm Sakis Karpas, you are watching the Unboxholics show and this is the new NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750Ti.
NVIDIA sent us the review package of the 750Ti, so the retail package will be quite different. But, let's get to the point.
First of all, what immediately impressed us is the size of the graphics card which at 14.4cm in length and 10.9cm in height, it is one of the smallest graphics cards available in the market now.
The cooling system has a quite discreet profile too with only a single cooler transferring the heat through the heat sink and out of the main chipset without any problems.
NVIDIA 750 Ti's PCB does not have any surprises for us. When it comes to connectivity, the 750Ti offers a DVI-I, a DVI-D and an HDMI port which means you can connect up to four monitors.
The most important aspect of the GTX 750 Ti is its amazingly low power consumption (60w full load) which makes a 350w PSU suitable for this graphics card.
We recommend a power supply unit of at least 350W so that you won't have to worry about it.
The low power consumption of this card is accomplished thanks to the Maxwell architecture (GM107) which offers double performance compared to that of the Kepler architecture.
NVIDIA GTX 750Ti is the first card that uses the Maxwell architecture, so let's check out some of its specs.
VRAM: 2GB GDDR5 128-bit (86.4GB/sec Memory Bandwidth)
CUDA Cores: 640
Textures Units: 40
Render Output Units: 16
Base Clock: 1020MHz Boost Clock: 1085MHz
As we said earlier, this is the first Maxwell 28nm Architecture graphics card from NVIDIA with features like OpenGL 4.4, DirectX 11.2, 3D Vision, NVIDIA Surround and G-Sync.
During our test benchmarks, the GTX 750Ti did not surpass 65°C in temperature which is amazing.
Check out the results of our benchmarks and learn more about the system we used by taking a look at the description of this video.
NVIDIA GTX 750Ti is available now with a starting price of €135.
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best deals a PC gamer can get if he's on a low budget.
We are seriously impressed by what this tiny beast can do. What is your opinion? Tell us in the comments.
Stay tuned on YouTube channel because we've got another NVIDIA episode coming up.
