Yayyy!
Did you guys miss me? I know it's been a long time.
I was like...
I've tried developing some recipes for my videos.
But then I could not concentrate.
All I thought about was all those tasty cakes I used to make loaded with *white sugar*.
Then I would reach out to my stock of chocolate.
"Just 1" I would tell myself...
Then I would get this sugar buzz kicking right away.
Eventually, my life style became loaded with Sugar.
Caffein!
And again,
*white sugar*
I ended up getting so much weight,
Easily got irritated,
anxious,
Less peaceful,
and very unhappy...
In other words, I turned into a *** not making any videos for you guys, at all (sorry about that!)
"I need to change my diet!"
So today, I am going to make "Macrobiotic" Tofu Balls.
Not the kind of balls, you are thinking!
"Yap, she hasn't changed!"
So let's get started!
In this recipe, we are gonna flip the hard tofu into Tofu balls!
First, we will need some boiling water in a pot to cook the tofu.
Drain the liquid off the Tofu package and place a tofu on a flat plate
So that we can slide the Tofu into the boiling pool of water.
Boil the Tofu for about 5 min at medium heat.
This process will moisture off Tofu to evaporate.
Turn off the stove and empty the whole entire pot of Tofu into a strainer.
Wrap the Tofu in a cooking paper,
Place a flat plate on top of it.
Then place something heavy on top in order to remove excess moisture off Tofu (leave for about 10 min).
Cut the Tofu into smaller pieces.
We will now slice 2 Shiitake Mushrooms, and mince ginger and leak.
Now we will need a food processor.
Put everything in it and mince for about 1 min or until smooth.
Transfer the Tofu mixture into a ball.
Then add 1 TBS of Soy Sauce,
1/2 - 1 TBS of Black Sesame Seeds,
Then add a pinch of salt to taste.
Mix really well using a spatula.
Now we will add 1 - 3 TBS of Flour.
I used the whole wheat flour, because of my Macrobiotic diet preference.
You can add more or less of flour; add until the texture becomes hard enough to form into a ball shape.
Now we will need some vegetable oil.
Coat both of your washed hands with vegetable oil,
Put more or less 1 TBS of dough.
And form into a ball shape.
Yeah I know, I have not lost my ninja trick.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer at medium to low heat,
Raise the temperature to 170 - 180 C.
Cook the tofu balls at medium heat until the surface turns into yellow to golden color.
Remove the tofu balls off deep fryer drain a paper towel.
That's it. That was easy right?
Smell so good! Take a look!
Wow, so good! I want to try it!

This is like chicken nugget, you know!
It's like crispy all around it.
And it's soft inside. 65 00:04:24.550 --> 00:04:27.480 It's really like chicken nuggets, but is made of Tofu!
