Hey guys and welcome to the latest edition of talk nerdy to me. Tonight we're talking
about TVs. I have a beast behind me. It's enormous! So Michael, tell me all about it.
Talk nerdy to me, sweetheart. Well, if you insist. We've got here is the 60 inch TV from
LG that we just recently got at Best Buy. Now, I'm a big online shopper. I love the
convenience of it, I love some of the deals you'll get, it fits great into my schedule.
Never buy a TV online. You can look at the specifications, you can read the reviews,
but until you get in the store and actually be able to see those TVs side by side and
compare them, you're just not going to make sure you're getting the right fit for your
living room or family room. Now when we went to Best Buy, I did do my preliminary research
on the types of TVs. You know, features I might want, sizes, things like that. So we
walked in the store and had a good idea kinda of what we were going for. The guys at Best
Buy really helped us out. They were able to help narrow down what we were going for...
ummmm.. and make the right decision that would fit well in our room. Now the LG we ended
up getting, This is the 60LN5600. Umm. It's a model that came out the end of last year.
Upgrade from the 5400. This one has built better apps and features in it. Now, I mentioned
I do a lot of shopping online and I don't like to get TVs online, but you can still
get really good deals online on TVs; however, Best Buy, it was the best deal out there.
The do have their low price guarantee and they will match competitor price whether it's,
you know, another brick and mortar store or it's an online retailer. And I like to save
money, I looked. I checked. I was able to pull it up on my phone with the model number,
seeing what's out there. Best Buy had them beat. You know, I couldn't even utilize the
low price guarantee because they were the lowest price. If you want to be like super
duper, best wife ever, get the Geek Squad. The guys showed up at my house and super duper
nice to my child. Which is, the best thing ever. He hooked everything up. Brought cords
and screws that I needed from their magical van and brought it into my house wearing little
booties. It was amazing. Showed me how to use the apps and told me that I probably should
buy a wireless keyboard and mouse. And he's right because I used the web and I typed it
like old school text messages and nobody likes chicken pecking. Chicken pecking is so, 2003.
So let me tell you a little bit about the TV itself. This is a 60 inch, LED backlight,
it gets a 120 hertz refresh rate. The picture quality is really good. Umm. I'm very impressed
with it. It's definitely. You know. It's not. We could have spent a lot more money but we
would not have gotten, you know, a huge improvement here. This was a great value for what we got,
but this is a good solid mid-range TV. That just works out great in our family room, here.
Yeah, I can watch Paw Patrol all day long. Which is what I do. Or I can picture in picture
Paw Patrol in the little corner and watch YouTube videos because that's way cooler.
Play the fox song and Michael can dance. Not this Michael. I can dance too. No he can't.
And with that, guys. Like the video if you want to see more tech videos. Leave a comment
below if you have a question about the TV. Or the whole Best Buy shopping experience
because there are skeptics out there and we did it. And he is a skeptic. And I just want
you to do everything for me when it comes to technology. So this is a good balance.
And we'll check you guys later. Have a great day.
