Now we are going to start making our rice. We are going to take our large sauce pan and
we are going to heat up our front burner to about 7 and we are going to add a tablespoon
of oil and a tablespoon of butter. While we are waiting for those two to blend together
we are going to mince one clove of garlic and add that right on the oil and then we
are going to move our oil and butter around to make sure that it coats the bottom. Our
butter is just now starting to melt so we are going to measure out a cup of rice and
whenever you pour a mixture out to measure it it is best to do it right over what you
are going to pour it into so in case some spill it is going straight in and you are
not losing anything. You are going to pour that right over the top and then we are going
to toast it 30 seconds to a minute.
