okay here's how
the picot stitch will be done i'm just working
on a piece that i used prior
in other demonstration and so I've just turned around and
did a couple single crochets and
this is just how you do the three
three chain just 1
2 .. 3 and then you go back
into your first chain put your hook
through put your thread over your hook
and you pull it through both loops on your hook
and then you go ahead and single crochet
in your next chain now depending on
how close you want your picot stitches
you can do another one
or you can do two more single crochet
and then do and other picot stitch .. 1
2 .. 3 chains
put your hook through the first chain
put your thread over and pull it through the first
and the second loop on your hook and then do
another single crochet and thats
the three chain
picot
now for instance if you wanted to do one they had more than
three you would just do
1 .. 2 .. 3
5 then you'd go down
into your first chain put your thread over
pull it through pull it through the second one
do a single crochet
then you can see that was a little bit larger than these other two
and then do
another single crochet and I'll demonstrate the
the five chain peco
1 ... 2 ... 3
4 ... 5
go down and pick up your
thread through your first chain pull it through the first
the second single crochet in your next
stitch pull it through
and there you have a demonstration
there's a three chain picot
four chain and
5 chain right there makes pretty edgings
i do always have trouble remembering how to say it because I forget
i have heard it pronounced
different ways but there you have it the Picot will look like
