The contract with the people that I was working with finished and she said Laura you got no
more work. And I turned around and said uh... what am I going to do now? In the mail came
a flyer, a paper flyer, Fair Repairs, you know, if you're looking for work... are you
unemployed? Do you live in the local area? Do you have a license? You know all these
things. And I was ticking off all the boxes you know and I was thinking oh, that it, tomorrow
I'm going to get a job. So I went down to the interviews, really put my point across.
I'm proud of the fact that I'm a leading hand. I'm proud of the fact that I've worked my
way up from being a cleaner. It's about self-esteem and it's about, you know being proud of what
you're doing, and it's about the fact that you're working. We live in the lower class
of society you know, living in Department of Housing, you know, I don't want my children
to ever think that we're poor. I love working for this company. It's close to home, close
to my kids. It's about pride really and living in Campbeltown, you got to find a lot of pride
around here haha. Fair Repairs.
