(Sándor Fodor) –If you have a problem with me, get me, me.
They should not come here.
They were crying for more than a week, they were afraid of going to bed, so they slept in my bed.
(János Kintner, Civil Guard Association For a Better Future) I won't keep it a secret that our group consists of people,
Who are not afraid of their own shadow.
(Patrik) They almost beat daddy.
Misi said, Misi Gulyás, that we won't have a dad.
(Norbert Vajda, Civil Guard Association For a Better Future, leader of the Magyarbánhegyes group
It has to be said that the most serious problem is the gypsies... in my opinion.
(Gábor Csurár) Leave us alone, that's all I ask from them.
Let us be, live in peace here in the village, just say 'Hello' to each other. That's all.
(Lajos Csurár, local Roma Minority Self-government, president) Well, we have been living here for about thirty years.
Here in Magyarbánhegyes.
There has never been any problems, only since this Association appeared.
Early last year a local publican was brutally murdered...
(Edina Benkő, daughter of the victim) It was a Hungarian person
Who committed this ***...
That Hungarian guy was in our familiy, he lived with my niece.
And then a few young people from Magyarbánhegyes decided to join together...
I am very sorry that the situation in this village deteriorated between Roma people and the Civil Guard Association For a Better Future,
They intend to connect this with the death of my father.
But it has nothing to do with my daddy's death.
We don't have a uniform, we have an outfit, black pants,
White shirt and black "For a Better Future" vest.
(Illustration) Which has no "Citizen Guard" sign anymore,
as we are not pursuing citizen guard activity anymore,
since we were suspended from persuing this activity.
To tell the truth, we were not allowed patrolling in Magyarbánhegyes,
and we did not patrol, but we called this activity observing service instead of patrolling...
Anywhere we go we are stopped,
not only stopped, but people are intercepted
They kept on reporting us for patrolling.
The NCGA (National Civil Guard Association), yes.
They are never taken... for interrogation, and stuff like that.
The police came and checked our IDs, in the evenings more than once,
we told them that we were only observing not doing anything else.
'Weren't you patrolling?' 'No, we weren't.'
What is the difference exactly? I don't understand.
This is just the two... "patrolling", the word that we don't use.
But practically they are the same.
Yes, they are the same.
(Recordings of the presence of CGAFBF in Gyöngyöspata, 2011 spring. source: YouTube, csuhuka)
'God, give us...'a better future!'
They blocked the road with their car. They put their car across the road in front of my horse-drawn carriage.
No, we never stop them, no. We just follow them...
We went to get some timber from László Szikszai.
Then three young gentlemen came, and they started to quarrel
well, I was calm in this case, because I knew that we were allowed to take that timber,
and I said that 'I will leave now...'
The fact that they don't leave, is because of your power Or...
ah... I think, yes.
They blocked the road outside the village, and they kept on saying that they would not let us go from there.
Everyone has the right as a citizen that if they notice a crime,
could intercept the perpetrator.
'So you do this.' 'Of course.'
There are forty civil guards, forty guys from the Association for a Better Future, the police headquarters is six kilometers from here,
fourteen or sixteen surveillance security cameras, so is there anyone else needed here?
There are civil guards. 'Aren't they doing their job?'
ah... they are, but I think they couldn't deal with the situation.
All the gypsy kids go to public work, they work...
There is no problem in the village at all. Ask anybody.
I like it here, because it is always so quiet.
You can go and see.
That's why I said you can go and see.
What can we see?
The bicycles. They are not locked.
Nothing was stolen from me, no one gets anything from the garden, they ask for it instead,
so I cannot say anything against them. The Rézműves family lives next to us,
but I cannot say anything against them... because they didn't hurt us.
I do not see any problem with the local Roma families or the community.
Practically I don't..., I don't know, because I don't see a reason why they should be here.
This Association for Better Future. Because... because why they even exist?
'Just because among them, it doesn't matter...' Just to stir each other up.
(Recordings of the demonstration at the Avas housing estate in Miskolc organized by Jobbik, where ACGFBF was also represented in great numbers, 17.10.2012.)
Gypsy crime! Gypsy crime! Gypsies get away from here!
Pest-control! Gypsy crime! Yes, there is gypsy crime!
They make up all kinds of things and then they attack us in our homes, with small children.
(Regina Tinti) 'We were at home, I was making dinner,
at around half past nine, when they came down, with five cars.'
(Amanda) 'They got out, Gabi Orosz, Norbi Vajda and Misi Gulyás.'
I was taking a friend home, so I went there, too.
It was rather a quiet talk.
Misi Gulyás was drunk, and he said 'how would it feel to grow up without a father.'
It is in the last street, I was afraid... I felt that my whole family was threatened.
It was just a coincidence, that I was also there when this happened.
I saw that they were drunk, and I didn't want to make trouble,
I took my children inside, I sent them into the room, all of them inside,
I also went into the house, that's all. I said: 'Leave me alone'.
In front of the children such event never happens, nowhere in the country.
It was written here that "For a Better Future". And they also had caps.

(Attila László, Association of Civil Guards For a Better Future, president) Everybody knows.
These worms multiply like rats.
In the coming years, the number of these spawns of the devil will multiply.
I had some change left, so I said, I'd go and drink a beer. Here in the pub.
I went up, drank a beer, and I finally had two.
But I am the kind of guy that people buy me a beer, and so on.
Ok, so we drunk two or three beers, that's all.
I went to the other place, because here, in the pub, there is no rest room.
the kid then... as I wanted to go inside, he came out.
Ok, maybe it was an accident, who knows now, it doesn't matter. We bumped into each other. With our shoulders.
And if you have had some drinks, of yourse you say something. I told him:
'Hey, don't get angry, but you could have said sorry, you are the younger or what.'
Because I know him, he was such a small kid. I saw him growing up.
So he is shaking his leg, and he say this and that...
I was here until around seven, half past seven maybe.
I got home, and at around nine, something like that,
they start beating the window, and Cila (Norbert Vajda) and his friends came with that 'Better Future guy'...
(Sanyika) I went to open the door,
and they said they were looking for Sanyi Fodor,
I said that... I ran inside, and told my dad 'Daddy, somebody is looking for you!'
What the hell, I went out, and he says 'what is it' he says,
that I picked at the kid, that I want to kill him, or stub him, or something,
He threatened me that I shouldn't have picked at the kid,
he says 'From now on, I will plague not only you, but your mother, your father, everyone.'
He said I would be like a shadow.
And he wasn't alone, but they were four, or five in the car,
I went out with my kid, holding him in my hand,
and then he was pulling the kid from my hand, saying 'Put him down, put him down.' (Zsoltika)
What did you see?
(Gréti) I saw that somebody was pushing Zsoltika's shoulder.
I called the police that night. The police didn't come. Not even one of them came.
Next day a policeman came, around ten, a motorcycle cop.
'You speak in vain...' 'Yes?'
You speak in vain, son, in vain.
Because nobody does anything. He says this is a Romanian citizen.
He has to be killed. Like the gypsies.
'They will solve it here...' 'That's it.'
I can only say good things. Especially about the local police.
They do a great job. When a report is made, they akt very quickly.
We called them, and they came at dawn. Three in the morning. Or two?
And the incident happened at eight.
We could have been killed, easily. They would have died. They make photos, and go on.

'Dirty gypsies!' 'Come out, thieves!' 'You're gonna be ***!'
'Let's go in!' 'Come out, gypsy!'
These were my old friends. Everyone of them. In the same street... The Better Future guys.
We went to the pub together, we went to play billiard, they grew up in my street. In my street.
This Norbi, he used to eat at our place. We lent money to him. And they lent us money too.
And why did it change?
I would like to know this too.
Why did it change?
