What WAS Yoga to you?
I didn't know about it
I just saw it in movies
I didn't think much about it
because I didn't practice it and I didn't know it was something good
Just a game
I didn't care for it
I don't know, I didn't even know about it
Umm... sort of a waste of time.
What IS Yoga to you?
A way to find my center, my Self.
It's a relaxation method
for those who are stressed at work.
It is really good!
Because it helps you relax
It is really good because it helps you relax and become a better person.
You experience change,
in your way of thinking and phyisically.
Yoga is Union
We would like to share a short story...
Well, in the past, in first and second grade,
we didn't get along
we couldn't talk to each other
we saw each other and we would say: oh, god...
here she comes...
So we basically couldn't stand each other.
But we began doing Yoga and...
We got to know each other
and noticed that the concepts we each had of another
were not correct
and that we were judging a book by its cover
and we learned that was not the correct thing to do
Here in Yoga we began to get to know each other more
and now we get along very well.
Yoga is Transformation
I stopped questioning my teachers and I started behaving myself
...stop being rude,
thinking things before...
saying them outloud!
I've stopped challenging my mom,
I am getting better grades at school,
and I'm more cheerful with my friends
I've changed a lot, I've stopped challenging my parents
and when I get angry at them I take a breath and turn around.
When I now face a stressful situation, such as an exam or something
I know how to breathe properly to avoid getting stressed.
...they ask me to teach them what I've learned here.
I learned to be assertive...
be more tolerant to other people
and... to relax myself. To relax faster.
I'm more tolerant.
I don't yell anymore.
Yoga is Sharing
We recommend doing Yoga.
Yes Yoga is really great.
It's not a waste of time, you learn to move muscles you hadn't moved before.
There are people who get angry really fast... They need to relax!
I want Yoga for next year.
I want Yoga in other schools.
I highly recommend Yoga to avoid getting stressed.
I hope these type of programs continue for us.
This is a course that helps you learn to live...
mentally and physically healthy.
