Many of our customers are just individual language learners who are motivated by
typically by actual personal enrichment. It's a common misconception that
most people are learning a language when they're going on vacation or take a trip.
But in reality, it's a lot like the adult who decides to take piano lessons
when they're 45 years old
because they've always wanted to learn the piano, and never did as a child.
Language is the same way. It's something that people do to feel better
about themselves and fulfill a lifelong
dream of being able to speak another language.
Transparent Language is a learning business.
But we're a technology company, so we make language learning software,
websites, mobile applications and
other technology-based learning solutions to help people acquire foreign languages
and English. So we work very closely with a lot of public libraries,
Universities, and different corporations,
and consumers. So we address a global audience.
We need to be able to offer
an e-commerce solution that allows people to buy easily from us.
We recently introduced a subscription-based language learning system and
BlueSnap became key to getting that out to the market, to the consumer market.
We've been very happy with BlueSnap. Like any new strategic vendor, when you're
doing something complicated,
we've had our are issues and so forth.
But it's not that we didn't expect to have some issues, because you always do when you have
a big new system.
