Q: So tell me, what have you been enjoying about the conference so far?
A: Networking, since we are a small organization, started in 2008 we are looking for occasion to
network with foundations and individuals and it was very very good. And I like to see more networking.
Q: So what’s been your favorite part of the MCN/MCF Conference so far?
A: So far the LEAST favorite part was the lines at the registration – but it was a great way to be able to
connect with people with names that were in the realm of possibly as far as my part of the alphabet.
But my favorite part was hearing the stories of American Indians and philanthropy in the session this afternoon.
Q: So what’s been your favorite part of the conference so far?
A: My favorite part has been meeting people. The exhibitors have been really helpful and they have some great stuff to offer.
I’ve been meeting some really old friends, meeting some new friends.
I got to go some really good workshops, got some good information already. And I’m looking forward to the next day tomorrow.
Q: Tell me, what’s your favorite part of the conference?
A: Well I don’t know. I learned a lot in most of the sessions.
This is the first time I have attended this conference and I was just telling my new friend here that
there is a wonderful energy to this conference.
I don’t think it is always that you meet people, or a large group of people,
that are committed to making a difference in the world. That’s not always the case. So I think that I enjoyed going to that.
There were some specific sessions that I found useful and I'm actually trying
to fundraising for a project and I got a whole bunch of ideas and I’m ready to take the next step.
Q: What’s been your favorite part of the conference so far?
A: Seeing my colleagues is amazing
A: What’s been fun for me is hooking up with people I haven’t seen for at least a year
since we were last together at the conference.
A: Likewise, seeing old friends.
Q: What’s your favorite part of the conference?
A I really enjoyed the speed-dating session.
I did not know that in 11 minutes time that organizations could find so many areas in which they could collaborate together.
I thought it was something really unique and novel and it was something I hadn’t heard about.
So I really appreciated that session.
A: I really enjoyed talking to other professionals and doing some networking at the conference.
Q: What’s been your favorite part of the conference so far?
A: Well we’re pretty excited about our fortune cookies that have different financial management tips and ideas inside it.
So I think my favorite thing has been handing those out and getting an excited response.
But I’m sure that my real favorite thing is that we’re presenting at a lot of different sessions
and we’re real excited to talk to folks about program related investments to both foundation program officers
as well as nonprofit staff.
We’re going to talk about change agents tomorrow, which is all about whether or not you have
the right organization business policies. We’re excited about all of those things.
Q: What’s been your favorite part of the conference?
A: I love seeing so many people in the sector talking, interacting, commiserating, and learning a lot.
