I am going to show you a powerful tool of NmoTion : the Animation Export Batch.
It will allow you to automate the exports of animations.
Let's say you have several animations in one single 3dsmax file.
Instead of exporting each animation separately, use our tool
to edit a list of animations and let Nmotion do the job.
First, select the folder where animations will be exported.
Then, use the user interface to add animations.
Fill in its name, its animation range, then press the "Add" button.
Do the same for all your animations.
Note that you can change the animations export options in the bottom rollout.
This is a global setting used for all the exports.
Once you have finished editing your animations list, you can save it as a text file.
This way, you can easily export the same list later, by loading the saved file.
Here is the generated file. You can see that it is easily editable in any external editor.
Finally, Press the "Export Batch" button to export your animations.
As you can see, the files have been exported and you have saved a lot of time for your next exports !
It is worth noting that the "Animation Export Batch" is kept in the package for backwards compatibilty
but it's better to use use the "Virtools Export Batch" which is an enhanced version of this tool.
