When your phone is locked, you can still view notifications
and open certain apps directly from the lock screen.
For example, swipe the camera app shortcut from the lock screen
to go straight to the camera.
To return to your most recently-used home screen
press the Home button.
Press and hold the Home button to open a list
of recently used apps for quick multitasking.
Simply tap an app to open it.
Tap the Back button to return to the screen
you were previously viewing.
Let's go to the home screen.
Swipe to the left or the right to see additional home screens
where you can put apps and shortcuts that you use often.
The white dots at the bottom will indicate
which of the seven home screens you are currently viewing.
The favorites tray below the navigation dots
lets you access top apps, shortcuts, or folders from any home screen.
Touch the top of the screen and slide your finger down
to open the notifications panel.
This panel shows you notifications from apps
missed call or message information, and more.
To clear your notifications, tap Clear.
You can also jump to Settings from here.
To do so, open the notifications panel once more.
Then tap the Settings icon near top right of the screen.
Here you can access network, device, personal, and system settings.
Press Home to return to the home screen.
To explore your apps, tap Apps.
To scroll through your apps, simply swipe from right to left.
Select Widgets at the top of the screen to open the widgets panel.
Tap Apps to return to the Apps page.
In the upper right corner you have quick access
to your downloaded apps.
Tap the Menu button from here to see additional options.
From here you can Edit the order of apps, Uninstall downloaded apps
change the View type, and more.
Select Play Store to quickly access the Google Play Store
to download apps, movies, and more.
