Hello, my name is Tyler Sonnek, Client Development Manager with MyCommerce. In this video, we
are going to go through how you can apply a theme and a custom style to your shopping
carts.
First off with the themes, underneath marketing, themes, we have put together a series of themes
that you can quickly apply to your shopping cart. You can review each theme and discover
which one would work best for you in your shopping cart. You can preview the theme and
then you can simply select it.
Now, my account is default to this theme that I have selected. When you open your shopping
cart, this will be the theme that is displayed. You do have the option of customizing this
theme further in case you have some tweaks that you would like to make. You can do this
through your manage styles. You can open up the styles and the themes that are in your
cart or on your account. You can modify this code as needed to best reflect you and your
site.
We also allow total customization of the shopping cart process through our API set. It is a
much more advanced option that using themes or styles, but you can find that information
underneath administration and API.
Now that we have selected a theme that we wish to apply to our cart, we need to go through
our checkout settings and ensure that we then apply it over our default shopping cart. We
find that underneath marketing, checkout settings. You see that you have the option of setting
your desktop and mobile themes. Right now, they are set to system defaults. And now you
can select one of the options that you have saved from the theme gallery.
While here in checkout settings, you may want to review all your checkout settings to ensure
that we are doing taxation, notices, all that. And now that you have set your system defaults
to your new settings, scroll down and save. Now when you hit your shopping cart, your
new style will be applied.
You can also note that you can also assign a style by product instead of just off of
account value. You can do that underneath your product settings. And if you need further
