Hey guys. This is Game On, I'm Grace and I'm going to be bringing you the gaming news of
the day. First up some crazy news for anybody who has been waiting for PS4 exclusive The
Order: 1886. It has been revealed by developer Ready at Dawn that the game will have absolutely
no multiplayer mode. According to German website Play3.de it was confirmed in an interview
that The Order: 1186 will be a third-person single player action game that will run at
30 FPS in 1080p and although they're working on a PS4 version only, if there's a possibility
to put it on cross-platforms they'd be up for it.
And next up Amidst rumours that Amazon are planning to launch an Android-powered console,
the online retailer has made a very curious purchase. They've gone and bought Double Helix
Games who are the guys behind Killer Instinct, but why? We're not sure yet but it looks like
all 75 studio employees plus its IP have been acquired so who knows what they've got planned
in the future. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything more from sneaky Amazon.
And finally, Konami have revealed that they have set aside budget to develop seven major
console titles in 2014 and another 7 by the end of Q3 in 2015. That's a massive 14 games
in total. The games company have already lined up Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 for current
gen and PC and Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain for current and next gen
consoles so we'll just have to wait and see what they've got brewing. As always I'll let
you know if I hear anything! Thanks for watching Game On News I'm here daily Monday to Friday
so subscribe and I'll see ya next time.
