SCIENTIFIC VOCABULARY
Emotional intelligence describes a set of skills
related to emotional problems,
i.e., the skill that human beings have
to solve emotional problems.
The first skill that forms emotional intelligence
is the ability to perceive how we feel about ourself
and people in our environment.
The second, is the ability to understand
how simple emotions form complex emotions
and also how some emotions follow others.
And the third is the ability to manage emotions
and those of others with whom we interact.
Thus, an emotionally intelligent person
is capable of perceiving emotions properly,
from then on, understanding where and how emotions are formed
and this person has the resources to manage
his/her emotions and those of her or his peers.
One of the mistakes we make when we think about
emotionally intelligent people,
is to consider that these people, as well as to manage emotions,
they are always happy and positive.
This is not true, since these people are able
to put the right affection in every moment
and perceive, exactly, how people feel.
It is not being happy, but putting the right happiness in every moment.
