Let's launch PageZephyr 3.0 for the Macintosh.
PageZephyr will index your hard drive
for the following desktop publishing file formats:
QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, or even Microsoft Publisher.
These popular desktop publishing file formats, or DTP files, are
proprietary and not searchable with standard methods.
With PageZephyr, you can quickly
add in a folder, or entire drives, to index and allow you to search your content.
Now you're getting started to democratize your content with
PageZephyr.
The interface is quite neat.
On the left, you get all your files that have been indexed.
You can even drill into any given file
and see the stylized content, right there
before your very eyes. You don't even
need to have QuarkXPress, or Publisher,
or InDesign, on your machine.
It's really that easy and you can even
reveal in Finder or open the document right from
PageZephyr.
Let's do a file search here for FlightCheck
and see how we can find keyword terms,
but not only find content, but also edit the
content right in the PageZephyr stand-alone
interface. We can delete,
add text, add stylization, colors,
pretty much anything, to quickly change content
before re-purposing it for reuse,
for instance,
on the internet, or saving out to RTF, as we're doing here.
The stylized content will now be
available stylized within an RTF file,
which you can copy and paste or use
for other uses or in other documents.
We also offer many different ways
to go up to the internet,
very popular, of course,
even right up to your own WordPress blog.
A couple clicks and it's right up to your account,
stylized and ready to be viewed online.
We'll check that out in a moment.
There are also many other methods to bring
your content online. For instance,
we can go to Google Docs with PageZephyr,
very popular,
right on up to Scribd,
a very popular site for publishers
who want to share their content there,
or get this content right up to your Box.net account.
Here, you see the content we put up to the WordPress blog.
We've edited it and loaded it up right through PageZephyr.
