The principals of SunGreen Systems have long and deep roots here in Southern California.
I have been in the commercial real estate business here for 25+ years, our Chairman
Mr. Lin has been an architect in this market, a developer, he ran the real estate portfolio
for one of the major banks, and our other partners have been architects and developers
in this community. We take a much broader, holistic approach to solar than many of our
competitors who are looking strictly at the solar. We look at how it fits into the building;
we do very complicated financial analyses on the paybacks, the return on investments,
the IRRs, and so forth, because that’s our background. Because we’re developers, we
tend to be risk averse, we tend to be very conservative, it’s often our money on the
line, and that’s the same care we bring to our clients and all of our customers. The
results of our deep roots in the community, are that we are very well positioned to bring
solar to our customers, and to our long term friends and colleagues, in real estate, in
banking, in the non-profit world; I participate on several boards at USC, the USC Alumni Associations,
I’m on the board of the Harvard-USC Business Growth Conference, all of these people we
have reputations that we are very, very, careful about, they have been developed for years
of service to the community, both the business community, the non-profit community, and to
our educational institutions. So we’re very, very careful about our customers, our reputation,
and we know that there is no room for error; we are extremely, extremely, conscientious.
