Millions of people griefs for him, admire him and remember him each year.
Hussain, a hero, a role model and a beloved for many around the world, but who was Hussain
and what did he stand for? Stand4Hussain tells the world
This is the third time here in Oslo after the foundation of Stand4Hussain. This has
become a tradition. We have inspired lots of people and organizations, Alhamdulillah,
in countries like UK, CANADA, USA, UAE, Singapore and Thailand.
If you cannot go to Iraq for arbaeen to take part in the walk to Karbala, you can still
reach out to people in your part of the world and tell them about Hussain, do your part
and stand for Hussain.
I couldn't be with the people in Karbala this arbaeen but I have some of the feeling of Arbaeen
and I'm here to tell people about Imam Hussain and what happened to him.
What it stands for, I didn't really know, but I heard the name and I heard people talk
about it. Most people in Norway probably haven't heard about him. I don't think so.
I hope the Norwegian people today took the chance to learn about something they don't know and
to get more aware about other people around them, and I know Imam Hussain can be a role model
for everybody.
Hussain's value highlights the message of his grandfather prophet Mohammed {pbuh}. A message
of strong and ethical values. Such as honesty, kindness and humility.
When you do things like this and when people come and see nice people I think you can influence
people because you look like nice people so you attract people, and of course you can have
impact on them.
In this world without many tyrants like Yazid, and few Hussains, the humanity longs for a
noble and virtues hero. A role model and source of inspiration. Our inspiration is Hussain.
Who is yours?
We are here not to judge, we are here for everyone, any persons are welcome to write
about their inspiration source. So we have actually many names, from the prophet, from
the prophets family, someone written "my wife", "my mom", "mother Theresa",
"Mahatma ghandi", "nelson Mandela", and some even wrote "malala".
We have been receiving lately lots of request on daily basis, on how to assist or start
this same initiative on their countries, there have been people so glad to assist that they
wanted to come all over from their countries in order to participate
in our stands here in Oslo. We'd be very glad to assist our sisters and
brothers in other countries to start the same stand and we will share our experience with
you guys.
People are always searching for values in life. Values like dignity, faith, freedom,
peace, and I think that Hussain is a sum of these things. Hussain stood for dignity, faith,
equality, freedom. Therefore I think we should inform people about this man.
Probably that's a key word. Like; "Hussain"... hmm.. "We will look it up".
