Hello everyone. My name is Tasha and welcome to Heart of Tarts. Today on the show I wanted to
find another way to use my green avocado-banana pudding filling, because I just love it.
Quite frankly, I don't know any other filling how to make really . . . words.
I decided to find something that fit it very well. A ninja turtle tart.
So I want on the Google to find out which was the most popular Ninja Turtle and I came across this poll that said
Michelangelo. Michelangelo wears the orange mask scarf thing.
Who do they think they are hiding from if the mask was to hide their eyes. They are like right there for you to see.
Anyway, we a making a Ninja Turtle Michelangelo whole fruit decorated tart for you today.
And I hope you are excited as I am. Here we go.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F then to a food processor you are going to add in 1/2 cups old fashion oats,
along with 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Blend that all together until it is pulverized down to a flour.
Now we are going to add in our wet ingredients 1/4 cup water and 3 tablespoons coconut oil.
Pulse that until it is just combined. Melted coconut oil works better than solid coconut oil.
So you should keep that in mind. Press it until it around the sides and bottom of your 9 inch tart pan
and bake it for 15 minutes. It will be browned and dry when done. Next, we can move on to our filling.
To the food processor, you want to add in two peeled bananas, one peeled and pitted avocado, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Blend that all together until it makes a puree. I love this stuff. It taste so good. It is green and lovely.
I always like green foods. Like I am the type who liked that green Ketchup that Kraft or whoever made that one time
that nobody like. I loved it. It was so amazing.
For you Michelangelo scarf mask thing, you are going to use one clementine.
I have peeled the clementine and peeled away the skin to expose that beautiful bright orange color of those little pulps.
I lined them up across the upper 1/3 of his face, then I made his eyes out of two slices of banana.
Dot the slices of banana with raisins so that he can see. So that he can have pupils and I made him a smile
out of a little sliver of some more banana. You can shape it the way you want.
You can do a red tongue or do a more intricate mouth, but I thought I would keep it quite simple with the teeth.
I went in a carved more smile, because they have huge smiles. I guess they are turtles.
You know the turtle mouth is big. But that is it. The Michelangelo Ninja Turtle Tart was really simple.
You can replace the orange scarf with other bright colored fruits that you want to make the other Ninja Turtles
and have a whole Birthday Party with these whole fruit decorated tarts. I think they are lovely and magical.
And, I will never stop making them no matter what you say.
Okay, tangent. Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it.
Please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed our time together as much as I did and I will see you guys tomorrow. Bye.
