to vegan-ize Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible.
And, today's recipe is Vegan Hot Wings with Braised Broccoli. Here we go.
Braised Broccoli Hot Wings Recipe - Food, Cooking, How to Vegan
We are going to start this recipe by drizzling fresh broccoli cut from the stem with extra *** olive oil.
Then to the bowl, we are going to add in garlic, salt, and pepper.
Then I thought it was a good idea to just toss this with my hands. No need to get any other utensils dirty.
Just going to put a little love in it, toss it up, then spread it out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F for about 20 minutes until it is brown and crisp
While that is baking we are going to make our vegan hot wing sauce or buffalo sauce.
By adding 2 parts hot sauce to 1 part vegan butter.
Give that a good stir. Oil is a little hard to incorporate, so give it a good stir until it is well incorporated.
Now your braised broccoli should be down baking, and it should be nice and brown and crisp.
And have little have little brown edges.
You can dip the broccoli into the buffalo sauce or you can coat all of your broccoli in the buffalo sauce.
