Today's Tekzilla Daily is brought to you by Thrillist. Welcome to Tekzilla Daily. I'm
Veronica Belmont. There are a bunch of third party services that use your Twitter information
and therefore need you to authorize their app to access your account. But sometimes
you end up authorizing an app and you never use it again and you end up with a pile of
apps that have access to your account for no good reason.
So it's good practice to go through your list of authorized apps and revoke those you don't
use. Just go to twitter.com, open up your settings, and click the applications tab.
Here you'll find a list of all the third party applications you've authorized, with a revoke
access button next to each one.
Just click it, and it will gray out, leaving you with an undo revoke option. Next time
you visit this page, that app will be gonzo. So do a little housekeeping and make sure
only those apps you actually use have access to your account. Now if you have a tip you'd
like to share with the world, let us know.
