- Top o' the mornin' to ya!
Today is Saturday the 16th of June,
the time is 07:30 AM, so it's not really that early.
Today me and Simon are going on our secret trip.
We won't tell you just yet where we are going
but you will now in time.
I'm going to start with the hardest task of the trip,
to call and wake up Simon.
That might be interesting.
- Yes.
- Did you manage to wake up?
- As a matter of fact i did! I don't know how that happened.
- Sometimes you succeed!
- Should I tell you what I bought? - Yes, do that!
- 12 packs of yoghurts.
2 packs of chocolate biscuits. 2 more packs of chocolate biscuits.
Bananas 2 packs of blueberry soup
2 Pringles potato chips.
More chocolate biscuits.
2 liters of Coca Cola.
2 packs of Digestive biscuits.
4 cans of Red Bull.
Chocolate candy
Bread.
Cream cheese in shrimp and ham flavors.
Sub sandwiches.
- Good! See you in an hour!
-Bye!
- We've just finished packing the car.
The time is 4 minutes to 9 AM.
We planned to leave at 9, so we are 4 minutes a head of schedule.
We won't say just yet where we are going, although you've already seen it above.
But, we´re heading west!
- We're in Åre, the big ski metropole.
That doesn't interest me and Jonas at all.
So, we don't know how high this mountain is.
But it's as high as it says here.
This is where the people from Stockholm go on pilgrimages
every winter to buy new ski gear to use once to look fancy on the after ski.
If you know your geography you can tell we're going west.
And we're about 200-250 km from our destination.
So you should be able to figure out where we are going.
- Now we're at a very picturesque gas station in Storlien,
the last outpost before you reach the Norwegian border
that you'll find over there.
So now we can reveal that the Norwegian border is where we are heading.
We've just refueled for 16 SEK/L and *** about that
so know we will roll on in to Norway and see what adventures await us!
- The Norwegian border!
We're going to…
- …Trondheim! Yay! - Yay!
- Many of you have probably figured that out already.
You can read it above us, too.
- Or can you, maybe it just says "secret location"?
- Well, we're going to Trondheim.
Now we're in Sweden, and now we're in Norway.
- I think I'll stay as long as possible in Sweden!
- Back to Sweden!
You probably wonder why we're going to Trondheim.
- What interest us most are the 747's from Pullmantur.
- We expect three 747-400 today, with about two hours between them.
- Hello. They we're going home.
So other than that, there is also different traffic here than in Östersund and Sweden.
- We were in Trondheim back in 2009. You can find video from that on our website.
But as we said what is most exciting is the charter from Orbest,
Iberia, the three 747's from Pullmantur,
Iceland Air, KLM, Lufthansa…
_ …and Norwegian… - …and SAS and Wideroe!
But other than the regular traffic a lot is happening this weekend
so we picked a good weekend to go.
- Well, there is the weather, though...
- We are also going to meet up with some people we met here last time.
So we'll meet up with them…
…meet up with them when we come to…
…Trondheim! In about 30 minutes.
- We'll see you there!
- Now we are in Trondheim!
We have just photographed the first Pullmantur landing.
The first of three today.
We didn't find the place where we stood last time
because they have built this hotel that we stand on now.
So we looked around and found a road
from where we could shoot the Pullmantur.
It turned out like this.
It's an okay angle!
Now where waiting for Iceair to depart
and have met up with Jonas that we met here 2009.
He chose not to be on video.
Other than that, it's a calm Saturday.
But we expect more 747's and other interesting traffic.
A SAS just landed.
Right now we're standing at the fire escape stairs on the hotel,
that we are allowed to do. Thank you for that!
Its a good place to shoot from. We will get back to you later!
- There's been a lot going on!
Just behind me is the runway and taxiway.
If you go up on a bridge here you get a good view over that.
So you get really close to the airplanes on the ground.
We've photographed all three Pullmantur, the 747's we've been waiting for.
We also got all three in one photo when they were taxing by one another.
So, there's a lot going on.
Where we stand now is where our beloved "sleep stone" was in 2009.
Unfortunately it has passed away. It's been slayed and replaced
by a hotel and a new terminal under construction.
But we can stand up there now. We're getting great photos.
The light could be better, however.
But we'll keep on, it's going well!
- Now we're sitting at the new spotting platform on the other side.
Runway 09 is still in use. It has been all day,
the weather has been both good and bad during the day
with some rain and a lot of clouds and bad light
but now it's wonderful!
We just shot the last departure of Pullmantur.
Three 747's.
Perhaps Murphy's law didn't apply today, since we got all three.
We have also photographed Orbest and the Skyteam from KLM.
Now we're waiting for Sky… - …Airlines.
- Sky Airlines! They're coming in now.
That's what's going on right now, great light, warm and nice.
And this is Jonas, by the way.
He's a bit camera shy.
But he's a nice guy that we met last time we were here.
Now we wait for Sky Airlines and take it from there!
- The time is close to 2 AM
and we're editing photos for the website.
You who watch this vlog have already seen them published.
It's been a long day.
It's been fun!
The weather and light could have been better during the day
but later in the evening it was better.
Except for when Sky Airlines came and went.
Then the clouds came, all of a sudden.
Perhaps we sleep in tomorrow, due to less interesting traffic.
But we'll go to sleep now and we'll continue tomorrow with part two!
See you then!
- Don't you want it anything on? - Oh, nothing on?
- We only have shrimp flavored cream cheese.
- Shrimp and cheese?!
- You can taste it. It doesn't really taste like shrimps.
This is a Swedish invention, you know!
