With regard to a suspension from the Nevada Department of Motor
Vehicles, the only time that you can get a restricted license,
in the state of Nevada, is on a first-time DUI suspension.
At the 30-day period, you can apply
for a restricted license, which would begin at day 45,
to use your vehicle to drive to work,
to school, or for medical appointments.
There is a procedure required.
You need a letter from your doctor or a letter
from your employer and/or a letter from your school,
in order to get the restricted license.
But there is a procedure in place.
And we can definitely assist you in that process.
So the only time that you can get a restricted license
in the state of Nevada is on a first-time DUI.
For a second-time DUI with a one-year license suspension,
you cannot get a restricted.
Nor can you get a restricted license
on a third-time DUI, which is a three-year suspension period.
