Hi everybody, it's Stefan Molyneux from Freedomain Radio. I hope that you're doing well. We are
thrilled and excited to have Grumpy Cat on the show to talk about her experiences in
trying to navigate the Affordable Care Act, which until its disastrous rollout was called
Obamacare, the name of which has mysteriously gone missing from all democratic talking points.
So Grumpy cat, you have a new book out, and we're very thrilled that you've decided to
grace us with your presence, thank you so much for taking the time today.
Oh ok, so let's dive in, Grumpy Cat what was your experience of trying to navigate and
register and enroll in health care plans using heathcare.gov under Obamacare.
Alright, umm, as you may have been aware of, a number of security experts have examined
the website and have found that it has, a wide number of obvious security holes baked
right into the architecture. That means of course that instead of it being like a brick
wall, it's more like Swiss cheese, and just about all hackers can fly-fish in to get whatever
information that they want out of you and your enrollment. How do you feel about that?
(Fart)
Yeah, I agree with that.
Obama and the other top administrators seemed to be stating, in fact, were stating in unequivocal
terms, that you were going to be able to keep your health care plan and keep your doctor
if that's what you liked while internal memos shows that between 40% and 65% of people,
and they knew that they weren't going to be able to keep their insurance plans and possibly
their doctors. And what do you think of this kind of bold face lying that's used to pass
legislation that does not invalidate the legislation on passing it. Right, because normally if
somebody lies to you in a contract, the contract is invalidated. Here we have a contract which
is much more important than personal contracts, it's about their life and health. And the
chief executive of the land lied about it repeatedly and openly while having direct
information to the contrary, what do you think this means to the rollout of the Obamacare
law?

Hmm. Some people of course argue grumpy cat that what is going on is an attempt to destabilize
the last remnants of the market system in order to bring in a single payer system, a
government socialized system. In other words, if you keep messing with the machine, eventually
the machine breaks and then the government can claim that the system doesn't work and
then step in ad control it. Do you really feel that given the amount of screw-ups that
have happened in this rollout that more government is really going to be the solution to problems
in American health care.
So grumpy cat, my last question is... I actually live in Canada where we do have a single payer
government socialized system and we've managed to get the waiting times for catastrophic
ailments down to 6-12 months. I guess the last question that I have when you really
think about it is umm. Want a single payer system?
