The Gathering of Eagles XVII Air Show Is returning to Lost Nation Airport, Willoughby, Ohio.

Even though the Cleveland National Air Show has been canceled because of the Federal Government
Sequestration budget cuts, The Gathering of Eagles Air show is ON and going Strong!
Get close and personal to the machines that protected our Freedom and Served our Country.
Walk the tarmac and have your picture taken with these great Airplanes of the past and
talk to their present day pilots.
We are pleased to announce that this year's show features B-17G 'Sentimental Journey'
Disabled American Veterans is dedicated to one single purpose: Building better lives
for America's Disabled Veterans. This weekend, in the company of the vintage B-25 Mitchell
Bomber, DAV bring its message of support of veterans to the Gathering of Eagles XVII in
Willoughby, Ohio. In its modern-day mission with DAV, the B-25 serves as a reminder of
the sacrifices veterans make for freedom. Meet the DAV Flight Team with the B-25 at
the Willoughby Gathering of the Eagles XVII.
The Tuskegee Airmen group with their demonstration team will be joining the Air Show.
See military displays and WWII re-enactors.

Hanger Dance: This year we will have a Hanger Dance
This program is funded in part by a grant from The Lake County Visitor's Bureau Arts
and Culture Fund to further participation in, and awareness of, arts and culture in
Lake County.
Proceeds of the air show will help our efforts and contribution to the restoration of the
Worlds Last known restorable to flight serving Boeing B-29 Superfortress. This B-29, known
as "The Doc", a WWII Bomber, is the last restorable to flight airframe in the world which is having
its restoration completed at the Boeing Facility in Wichita, Kansas, in the very manufacturing
plant of "Doc's" birth in December of 1944.
