On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Paul Anderson from the ABC Circus and we are in
Hollywood, Florida, and I'd like to show you some things about unicycles. Unicycles come
in all shapes and sizes. Some are more practical than others and some are more just for theatrics.
This one is just one for theatrics. You can't really go very far because you can only go
as far as you can jump and push one time. Maybe 50 or 100 feet or down a very steep
hill, but you're not going to catch me going down on a hill on it. This is known as a BC
wheel from BC comic strips. You know the comics you read in the newspaper. I believe Thor
rides it as he races through the comic strips. His is a stone wheel. This one of course is
much more modern with a nomadic tire and metal plates to put your feet here. This one is
great for theater, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you were going into show business.
Of course, it is quite difficult to ride. Of all of these unicycles, this would be the
most difficult to ride. It's not called riding, it's called coasting because you have no brakes,
no way to accelerate, and no way to decelerate. You just jump on, you coast, and you pray
for the best. Only get one of these if you're real serious about unicycles.
