I have been a patient of Dr. Goodman’s for over 20 years. I was diagnosed with a hearing
loss as a teenager - a genetic hearing loss. Very devastating as a young girl to be diagnosed
with a hearing loss.
I met Dr. Goodman and found Main Line Audiology right after college. And, she helped me and
guided me. Put me in my first pair of hearing aids which I desperately needed. She’s been
by my side ever since. She has helped me to lead a productive, normal life. Because of
the care and her expertise, I’ve been able to work, get married, have children, live,
have a good social life – everything was made easier by the fact that I could hear
the best I could possible hear and that was always the goal of Main Line Audiology.
I have always felt comfortable and warm and cared about here. I know I’m getting the
best treatment. I know I’m getting the best technology. I never worry about that. I know
that Dr. Goodman is always seeking new technologies. She travels. She’s nationally recognized.
I know I have the best. I am very grateful for this wonderful organization.
I was invited to become Patient Care Coordinator. I was honored to take the position back 2
and half years ago. Now as an employee, as a hearing aid wearer myself, I come to the
job with a lot of compassion and understanding for our patients.
I can look at a patient and know how they’re feeling. I can empathize. And, for me, it’s
been a wonderful learning experience sharing my own struggles and being able to help other
patients hear well.
So, as Patient Care Coordinator, I’ve been able to assist Dr. Goodman with the customer
service aspect of the business as well as be there emotionally for our patients. I enjoy
working here. And, I enjoy being a part of this fabulous organization.
