We often plan meals with the kids by finding recipes
online, in cookbooks, or in grocery flyers.
When we involve the kids, it makes them want to eat.
They're the ones deciding what’s on their plate.
It works really well. It's so easy in summer –
there are tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables.
So we tell the kids, "You can have whatever you want".
When I grill meat like chicken or pork,
or veggies like zucchini or peppers, I always make extra.
They make great salads for the next day!
And for lunches too! Come eat, kids, supper’s ready!
