Hi, welcome back. My name is Drew Berman and I am your guide through success in network
marketing. Now, we're at a very interesting time of the profession of network marketing
as it has grown and matured a tremendous amount over the last couple decades. Now, you have
the twenty-somethings that are coming out of school and being exposed to our profession
and you have the baby boomers that are in between careers, are moving on or wanting
their next step, and they're embracing our profession. So, obviously technology is somewhere
in between and how do we attract both- both generations? You know, you have people in
my dad's generation that they learned this business on the phone, right? Make appointment
on the phone, follow up. Make appointment on the phone, follow up. Show presentation,
follow up, phone, phone, phone. You have twenty-somethings coming out of school and if you told them
they had to sit at a desk for 8 hours on the phone, they'd think you're crazy, right? So
how do we- how do we marry high tech and high touch? How do we create an online presence
so that people get to know us? Well, here's a couple tips. So most of you- most of us
are familiar with social media. Facebook- Facebook is not a place to market and sell
your business or your network marketing company. It's just not. It's a social network; it's
a place where you can connect. It's a place where you can add value. It's a place where
you can contribute. It's a place where you can get into conversations and as you develop
relationships online, like I talk about in my book, you could potentially guide them
through a process on Facebook through some questions, through some engagement questions,
and then you can book appointments, just like we did off school- old school, offline- offline,
old school. You don't want to sell on Facebook. Here's a couple Facebook tips. You want to
have your picture, a professional picture. It doesn't have to be that you hired a pro
to. It could be just a nice looking picture of you as your profile, not your brand, not
your logo, not your company, a picture of you. So, that's one way you can, you can start
online. Depending where you are on your online journey, would depend on what are next steps
would be. For me, me, I like video. I think video is a great way for us to get to know
each other. I think video is a great way to create trust and relationship. I like creating
video and I do it in several different ways. I do a video where I'm talking to you and
I send it out in multiple ways. I'll post it on YouTube. Some of my YouTube- most of
my YouTube training is free, some of it's paid. I'll send it out through my blog. Sometimes
I'll do a periscope where I'll actually talk to you live through live stream. Now, Facebook
now has live stream. Sometimes I like to do Facebook live stream so that as you plug into
Facebook, we can create a dialogue. I also like to use Blab. Blab is a way that we can
have an interview. We can have several people from all over be on and be engaged in conversation
and contribute. So, I like those means. Now, maybe you don't like video. Well, how good
of a writing communicator are you? If you're a good writer, you can start to develop relationships
through Facebook, LinkedIn, you could blog. Now, on my blog, I share tips like this every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. What's working, what's working now, how the industry is improving,
and we always have certain tips that are available for you to create more of an online presence
for your network marketing business. It comes down to connecting with people. So, go to
