Today we will prepare nutritious Palak Soup which is high in iron.
Ingredients required :
Palak (spinach) - 250 grams
whose leaves have been cleaned, washed twice with water and dried in a strainer before hand.
Tomatoes - 2
Ginger - 1/2 inch long piece
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Cream - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 or 2 tbsp
Lemon - 1/2
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Black salt - 1/4 tsp
Plain salt - 1/2 tsp
First we need to cut Palak to prepare the soup.
Take Palak in a bunch and cut
not put Palak in a utensil as we need to boil it.
Cut ginger into 4-5 pieces as well, similarly cut tomatoes.
Add 1 cup water
and once it comes to boil we need to boil it further for 2-3 minutes.
We boiled the Palak, ginger and tomatoes for another 3 minutes.
Turn off the gas and grind the contents in the untesil after they cool down.
Now that the Palak has cooled, put in a mixer and grind.
Add 3 cups of water to the Palak paste.
Mix well then strain through a strainer.
. Filter the Palak pulp properly and the Palak threads and tomato peels will be left out.
The soup has been strained and prepared
prepared so now we boil it for another 2-3 minutes.
Add black salt, plain salt and black pepper. Mix the spices thoroughly.
The soup has been boiling for 2-3 minutes
Palak soup is prepared once it comes to boil.
Remove soup from the gas
now add 1-2 tbsp butter or as much as you desire to the soup.
You can also exclude butter if you don't prefer it.
Squueze lemon juice and add it to the soup as well.
Palak Soup is ready, pour some cream in it as a garnish.
Serve Palak Soup with soup stick or toast.
