well what the flick everybody Ben Christie and Alonso
we're gonna do something a little different here christy is the only
person to have seen
CVG should others no I passed my review
said that a a fictional movie kinda
about the founding up CBGB the hugely important influential and groundbreaking
music venue
in the battery in New York City the birthplace of punk it is essentially
famous people
playing dress up as other famous people and so you have
Alan Rickman as hilly crystal the guy who kukri CBGB
and he was like Jeffrey Ross his just got the mop of hair in the guy and the
beard
and never for a second do you feel a moment authenticity from
a the performances from any above the actors
it's like back lot New York you have Mon after min plane Debbie Harry
you've got Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters playing you pop sooo wow
there's a scared person there is this person
and a you don't get the energy in the brashness and the Verve
punk rock itself you it feels very
cursory and like to buy is no insight at all
you are not alone yeah absolutely right now as we do this review is at
0 percent yes father tomato it don't go see it I wanted to see a documentary
about CBGB instead
that's how it was for 0 i'd give it like that
to
