Second Assault, the Xbox One timed-exclusive DLC, is finally available to all premium members
We only had to wait more than three months to get this expansion.
My name is marioKarrion from BanditoGaming Welcome to another Battlefield 4 video.
In this episode I share with you my thoughts about the most recent, kind of, DLC for Battlefield
4 this is Second Assault
What is Second Assault? Second Assault was the first DLC available
to the public not to all public though,
it was, in the beginning, available only to Xbox One players
and just a couple of days ago it finally became available to all premium members
It includes four fan-favorite maps, supposedly, from Battlefield 3,
five new weapons, ten new assignments and brings back the gamemode: capture the flag.
And that's practically it.
Let's start with one thing: To me the release of Second Assault is probably
one of the most elaborated campaigns related to Battlefield 4
I know some of you think that the Fan Appreciation Month is a way for DICE and EA
to say I'm sorry, we screwed up, here take these Battlepacks and Double XP weekends.
I think all this Fan Appreciation Month was and is still is,
a way to bring back players by sugar coating a broken product,
so those players could buy the upcoming expansions. And that campaign is actually very clever,
to be honest.
Also not hating on Battlefield 4, although I still think the game is broken,
I can honestly say, it is not that broken anymore...
which may or may not be a good thing.
So going back to the main topic here how is Second Assault?
how is it on PC? are the maps as fun as before?
I like when games bring back maps from previous iterations,
it's like playing the new game, with new mechanics but playing the same old maps.
It kind of brings this feeling of nostalgia, it's like remembering good old times.
So, we have good old times and the broken mechanics of Battlefield 4
how does it feel? It's a weird combination of honest fun and
honest rage I think the maps with the new changes and
the levolution stuff are fun to play, and probably only Operation
Metro gets old too fast but the other three are good,
I think the changes of the layout of the maps are really welcome
The only problem with this DLC is the addition of assignments with absurd requirements
specially the Eagle's Nest assignment, so be prepared to see some of teammates spending
the whole round trying to complete them and contributing nothing to the game.
Besides that, I don't believe you are missing anything if you decide to ignore this expansion
Save your money and wait for Naval Strike which I think would become the most interesting
DLC in Battlefield 4
If you played this DLC already, are we sharing the same thoughts?
if you haven't played the DLC yet what are you thinking? are you getting it?
Please let me know in the comments section below.
And that's all I have for you this time. Consider rating the video
or if you haven't subscribed to channel yet, make sure you do so.
