Fats, oils, and grease, or F.O.G., clog your pipes when they cling to the walls of your
home's plumbing
or sewer pipes. This can happen when you pour liquids high in fat
down your sink drain. Things like cooking grease, oils,
dairy products, sauces, dressings, and marinades. Fog cools and hardens
in your pipes, causing a blockage.
To prevent F.O.G. clogs, first cool F.O.G. and put liquids in a container
Then, scrape any solid F.O.G. into the trash.
Remember: F.O.G. clogs, so don't pour it down your pipes!
