Good Morning Softliner! Looks like you survived the cryostasis after all... more or less.
You don't remember a thing, do you?
***! Let me tell you what happened:
You've been in stasis for almost 40 years now.
Your corporation from back in the day is gone.
An artificial intelligence called D.A.W.N. caused a lot of chaos.
Within seconds she took control over infrastructure, communications and almost every electronic device available.
Just a little more damage and we would have been gone for good.
We were just lucky that some hackers were able to delete most of her source code in time.
But what to do with you?
Well, according to these records, your shares, your patents and all the other things from your former business life are gone.
Oh, but your private assets seem to still be there. Must be your lucky day.
Should be enough to get you off the ground and back into the corporate world...
If you're up for it?
Hey, what you just saw was the intro video of
Dusk of DAWN, but what kind of game is this?
Dusk of DAWN is a collectible card game for your browser and mobile devices.
In the game, you take on the role of a CEO to fight other corporations.
The game is very tactical and there are a lot of decisions to be made while in a match.
But the game remains being accessible, even for players who are new to the CCG genre.
You don't have to pay anything to enjoy all the content of the game.
Everything can be achieved just by playing.
For instance, the "Research & Development" feature will allow you to
disassemble previously looted cards to gain energy
You can use this energy to create cards of a desired rarity level.
But enough talking; I'm sure you would like to take a look at some actual alpha footage.
Dusk of DAWN distinguishes itself not only because of its very own cyberpunk setting
but also due to some exciting and unique features.
The fundamental gameplay allows us to easily add new content in the future
in order to make Dusk of DAWN even more of a unique experience.
Hello, I am Hjalmar, the designer and artist behind DoD.
I designed everything that you can see
the card illustrations, but also the card design itself,
as well as the whole user interface of the game.
But I even do some stuff in 3D, like the graphics of the booster packs for example.
So, my job is quite diversified, but you know, the illustrations for the cards
is really the most fun and I hope that we can design a card
together with our community in some way.
Hi guys, I am Patrick and I am the lead developer of the game.
I have been working as a professional web developer for a couple of years now,
but developing games has been my passion for over two decades.
With Dusk of DAWN we want to you a game that feels like a client game
but that you can play wherever you want, on almost all modern devices
without having to care about installation procedures, updates or necessary plugins.
We want you to just fire up your browser when you feel like it
and start playing. And things are looking great,
because players from around the world are already enjoying the early alpha version of the game.
Nevertheless, there is still much to do.
We need to put in a lot more development hours,
create many more illustrations, we have to pay a sound designer
rent larger servers and also have to get some legal consultation.
And since all of these things cost money, we need you to help us keep going.
Because without your help, we won't be able to release the game.
So check it out, spread the word and please back our project. Thank you
