Redge: We're here to talk about Anxiety with Michelle today...Can you tell us how
someone knows they're having anxiety? Michelle: We're not here to diagnose or
analyze someone's anxiety. That is for psychiatrists, psychologists or maybe even councilors, but
not us. We don't diagnose anyone or give them a name to what they're experiencing.
All we are concerned with is when someone comes to us with a complaint, that we help
them to overcome that complaint, or help them to deal with it in a way that makes sense
for them. With anxiety in particular, we are there to help them to eliminate their anxiety
so they can deal with the ups and downs of their day calmly and ideally effortlessly.
Having said that, anxiety can come from a variety of places. People can experience it
at work, at home, Sunday night, when they get behind the wheel of a car, within their
relationships, randomly or all of the above. The issue with anxiety for most people is
that they don't know why it comes up and they don't know how to overcome it. Sometimes
deep breathing exercises are good enough, sometimes they are not.
