Hi, there fashion fans! It's Laurel the fashion expert. And today we are going to work on
drawing flat shoes. The style that I'm going to show you right now is a slip on sneaker
style. This, as I've said before, is completely limitless as far as design variations. I'm
going to show you how to do a couple and then you can take it from there and roll with it.
These that I am going to show you how to draw, have kind of a deck shoe inspired look. It's
a slip on sneaker because the sole is going to be rubber in reality. But it's more of
an "ath-thleisure" type of shoe than an actual sneaker. But it does fall in this category.
So right now we're going to get started. And I'm going to show you how to draw our slip
on sneaker version two. I decided to make it have a toe cap; just so I could have some
visual interest. The gray and pink I think obviously, well I love them together; they
play very well off of each other. So you need to decide, if you're doing this, where you
want your toe cap to be. And you can do it small. You can do it like this one. You can
do it a little bit bigger. It's just totally up to you. And then my important first step that I always
say I didn't do is making the sole. But it's a flat shoe so there's really not much variation
in that. And then you'll see right here, the gray piece. That's like a rubber add on design
line. It doesn't serve any purpose other than looking cute. So I'm going to draw that in.
And then we're going to take and finish off the rest of the sneaker. And as I said before, when they get color
into them is when you really start to see the design pop. When it's just one color,
it's kind of just like... oh I did that wrong. We're going to add another design line, just
for the sake of balancing out the color. But when you get your colors in is when you start
to feel like "oh, wow! This really does have a good look!" Or, "ew, I don't really like
that, I should use this color, or I should change it." But that's all up to you to decide.
And then there you go. There's slip on sneaker version two.
