Hello my name is Angela Faiola and today on behalf of Expert Village we are going to learn
how to make gnocchi. We have our beautiful gnocchi here, now we have to shape them. What
you do is take a fork a simple fork you turn it upside down and you just roll it. It would
come out with a particular little lines that go in and you want that because all of the
sauce is going to go inside. Now it is a little bit tricky so I would do it slow. You put
your finger in and it would just roll over. Kind of like a snail or like a shell. If you
look at the other side there is like a little bit of a opening. Let's do it again, it takes
a couple of tries. You know you want to slip it in and it just rolls down by itself. It
is very delicate dough so you pitch it almost and just turn it around. You don't want to
pitch into much light, light and that is it. We are almost done shaping our gnocchi. Okay
all done.
